What to bring, how long it takes, and what happens in the room.
Before the visit
Call to book.
- Photo ID and your insurance card — lab tests and imaging go through it
- All your medicines, supplements and herbs — bring the bottles
- Recent test results, or the name of the place that did them
- The names of your other doctors
The first visit, and the second
At the first visit, Dr. Pan listens to your whole story, looks at your records, and orders tests if needed.
At the second visit, once the results are back, he explains the plan. He keeps following up with you after that.
How long it takes
A first visit takes about an hour. Follow-up visits are usually 30 minutes.
What happens in the room
First you talk, then Dr. Pan examines you. For Chinese medicine, he also checks your pulse and your tongue.
He tells you what he is going to do before he does it, and you can say no to anything.
What it costs
For the first two months — October 16 to December 15, 2026 — every visit is self-pay (you pay the clinic directly), at 25% off (video visits stay $80). Insurance is being set up. A Chinese medicine visit is $120 for a first visit and $90 for a follow-up (regular $160 and $120). Herbs cost extra. A medical visit is $120 for a first visit and $90 for a follow-up (regular $160 and $120). Both together is $185 (regular $250). Lab tests and imaging usually go through your own insurance.
There is no membership and no package to buy.
Common questions
Can I be seen by video?
Video visits are $80: for follow-ups, and for some first visits that do not need an exam in person — such as menopause questions, going over test results, or sorting out your medicines. You need to be in Pennsylvania during the visit. Dr. Pan decides whether a first visit can be done by video.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. Many people bring a spouse or a grown child. There is room for one more person.
What if I only speak Mandarin?
That is fine. The whole visit can be in Mandarin, including written instructions. No interpreter is needed.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly.
